The flat management structure and operational principles of HPAC ensures that each project is set up with the correct resources to sufficiently service the project, implement project management strategies and undertake the works. Throughout the construction process our team works closely with the consultants and principals to ensure that any unexpected changes are met quickly, and with a minimum of disruption to the project ensuring that core deliverables are met. Additionally, we have an extensive network of subcontractors that allow us to provide rapid solutions for our clients across the complete spectrum of trades.
HPAC undertakes a full review of the proposed works during tender and prior to construction to ensure accuracy of documents, coordination of documents and that the documents are suitable for construction. This process significantly reduces the risk to our client and to HPAC.
Our Project Management System allows early identification of issues so the project team can direct appropriate resources to ensure that the project remains on track and on budget. We allocate the critical resources to all construction projects irrespective of size to ensure each project is managed and monitored to ensure the required outcomes are achieved.
Our site team typically consists of:
- Dedicated Design Manager (For Design and Construct projects)
- Project Manager (For Project Delivery Management)
- Head Contract Administrator
- Full-time Site Manager
One of our key strengths is Design Management. Most of our projects involve managing some or all of the design process, based on the client’s requirements. Our team can be involved at any stage – from master planning & concept design, authority approvals, detailed design, or ‘for construction’ documentation. Our experience working with clients on an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) basis has seen their projects move forward as smoothly as possible.
We manage the design process, working with the client, stakeholders, architectural and engineering firms. Our long-term relationships with leading architects and consultants allows us to bring a team selected for their specific skills and experience that best suits the project objectives. By closely managing the design process, we guarantee the project is well directed, stays on programme and progresses towards achieving the client’s objectives and budget.
By applying our knowledge and experience into the design, materials selections, construction strategies and techniques (‘buildability’), our results speak for themselves – the best value for money while providing facilities that are fit for the intended purpose.

Our estimating team prepares a thorough costing for every project with focus on cost and value management. Working closely with our Project and Construction Manager, this allows for the early identification of issues and ensures that the best techniques, materials and innovations are incorporated into the project. Our previous project experience and relationships with our subcontractors ensure that the most effective and competitive solutions are applied when preparing a construction cost plan.
