The client for this project is a specialist cladding and linings contractor who were expanding from a single floor to two floors in the same building. HPAC were engaged to design and deliver a cohesive fitout that would accommodate their future growth and be a showcase of the materials they use in their work.
Expansion of the workspaces including demolition and rebuild of two bathrooms, one of which required a redesign when a major structural element was discovered behind the existing tiled wall which was not on the base building drawings. Design of a new floor layout for both upstairs and downstairs, demolition and build of two new kitchens, breakout space, reception, extensive storeage and bespoke joinery, the Managing Director’s office and a boardoom to accommodate 20 people.
HPAC designed all of the elements of the project including the joinery, structural and mechanical as well as provided the interior design services for the ‘design scheme’ of the fitout. Using many of the materials that the client uses daily on their customer’s projects including Cementel wall finishes, Alucobond cladding and timber look batten features as well as timber acoustic panel doubling as features on the ceilings and glazed partitions to separate the breakout space from the workspace.
