Officially opened in December 2024, the Fairy Meadow Ambulance Station is the first purpose-built facility of its kind in the area, located at the University of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus. Delivered by HPAC under a design and construct contract, the station features six internal ambulance bays, a vehicle wash bay, external covered parking, and staff parking including accessible spaces. The facility includes administration and storage areas, amenities, education and training rooms, fleet maintenance zones, and relief quarters with a gym. This modern station provides paramedics with a state-of-the-art base to improve emergency response across the Illawarra region.
