Completed in August 2023, construction of the new expansion to the existing hospital in Kingswood involved early works with on-grade carparking and loading dock and associated infrastructure and a new 4 storey building housing new patient holding areas, cold shell specialist suites, four operating theatres, new CSSD as well as stage refurbishment of the recovery areas, staff facilities and back of house services in the existing building. HPAC were engaged for ECI in the early design development of the project enabling better resolution of design challenges and cost savings to the client. This project was a winner at the MBA NSW Excellence in Construction Awards in 2024 in the Health Buildings $10m-$50m Category. A fantastic achievement for our team and industry partners.
